Here’s an idea:
What if we met together to have fun making art, share a few moments with Scripture, & experienced art as part of our Sabbath? What if we brought the art studio to our Sabbath? We could do this at church or in homes & places in the CSRA. We could do art together as youth groups, couples, parents with their kids, children’s groups, and at special events. We could do it affordably, enjoy eachother’s company, and most importantly, we could make art that matters...
Well, that’s a great idea. A lot of folks would love to be a part of something like that. But until I stumble across an insane amount of money to run a studio space, we’ll have to take it to the community. So let’s get started...
The preparations are made for Aiken, hosting this new idea... You are warmly invited to join in! This is being taken on by a professional artist who also happens to be a single homeschooling mom with two jobs & all-around hopeful homemaker. For this reason, there are costs associated with the group, but they’re really intended to just keep the thing rolling.
On a side note, I do avoid social media so I appreciate any one who will share the news & bring a friend!
Looking forward to...

Sabbath Studio is an opportunity for people to meet together to create art projects with guidance from a professional artist while enjoying the faith-centered fellowship that makes our projects unique and meaningful.
Sabbath is always a day of rest, community, & worship, whether that is a Saturday or Sunday or otherwise...
The Intention
of our Sabbath studiO is to go beyond the simple Joy of using our creative skills to make quality artwork,
to nurture relationships & facilitate conversations that reveal the deeper Truth from within the art-making process
as we find meaningful ministry moments in unique studio sessions.
Ultimately, this is all for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Let’s make something beautiful for His Name’s Sake.
The Process
of our Sabbath studiO session begins with
a few minutes discussing the materials & end results we’re working toward before we delve into an hour of work.
We then take a robust break to enjoy refreshments & open the time-to-talk portion.
During the last hour, we complete our creative endeavors
& make plans for our next group.

hey group organizers
church folks
pastors & parents
I’m doing this so that the talents I have as a creative type will do something better than supplement income. You may have received an email or I may have sought you out in person. If you have a space for us & can offer the opportunity to get the word out, we can have a great time building community while making art that matters. All sorts of groups can be served with unique, tailored artistic & meaningful experiences. Projects offered will update every once in a while, but we can talk about sessions tucked away in the project portfolio. Let’s make arrangements, set a date, & nurture the creative heart of God’s people.
